Under the policy of reform and opening up, Ministry of Commerce of the P.R.C. sowed a seed of foreign trade in 1985 that bred the China Base. （此处做了分段修改）

Based in the port city of Ningbo, on the forefront of China’s opening-up this seed of foreign trade has grown to a towering tree. It ranks among the top 100 foreign trade companies in China and the top 20 of national logistics companies. It has a registered capital of 120 million yuan, with credit standing rated as AAA.

City officials headed by Bayin Chaolu, Party Secretary of CPC Ningbo Committee visited China-Base at the beginning of the Lunar New Year 2009. Bayin Chaolu said "Despite the financial tsunami China-Base Ningbo has made hard-won achievements and contributed a lot to the development of the local economy".
